Terms & Conditions

By booking a stay with Sea Retreat, you agree to the following terms.

Booking & deposit

A 30% deposit is required to secure your reservation. The balance, along with a refundable damage deposit, is due before arrival — full details are confirmed at the time of booking.

Changeover

Our changeover day is Saturday to Saturday, with arrival from 2pm and departure by 10am, to give us time to prepare the cottage for the next guests.

Minimum stay

Three nights minimum, though this may increase during the high season. Shorter stays are charged at the minimum 3-night rate.

Cottage occupancy

The number of guests must not exceed the occupancy stated for the cottage you've booked.

Children & pets

We welcome children of all ages. Well-behaved pets are welcome by prior arrangement at a small additional charge — we just ask that they're kept off the furniture and any mess in the garden is cleared up promptly.

Smoking

We operate a strict no-smoking policy inside both cottages.

Damages

Please take care of the cottage and its contents during your stay, and let us know promptly if anything is damaged or broken. We don't charge for minor wear and tear, but may invoice for significant damage, particularly if it isn't reported to us.

Cancellations

Cancellations require written notice. We recommend guests take out travel insurance, as a re-letting administration fee may apply if we are unable to re-let cancelled dates.

Limitation

Nothing on this site should be taken as a guarantee of availability — all bookings are subject to confirmation.
